A private celebration of life for Debra Wilson, 62 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Saturday, June 9th at her home in Buffalo, will be held by her family at a later date. Donations in Debra’s memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Online condolences may be made at

Debra Ruth Wilson was born on May 18, 1956 in Lamar, Colorado to Glen and Ruth LeVeque. She moved with her family to various parts of the Pacific Northwest and attended high school in Bend, Oregon. After high school she was married to David Wilson in La Pine, Oregon and they made their home in Gresham, Oregon where they raised three daughters. She was divorced in the late 80’s and in the late 1990’s she moved to Vancouver, Washington where she was a waitress at Shari’s Restaurant for over twenty-five years. She retired and moved to Buffalo, Wyoming in 2012 to live near her daughter and grandchildren. She continued to live in Buffalo until her death.

Debra was an avid reader and enjoyed time with her friends at the senior center and playing cards. She had a passion for animals and loved spending time at the animal shelter.
She is survived by three daughters, Melisa Peschke of Dallas, Texas, Dawn Mohr and her husband Corey of Vancouver, Washington and Candice Casler of Portland, Oregon; one brother Mike LeVeque of Portland, Oregon; her parents Glen and Ruth LeVeque of Pierce, Arizona and seven grandchildren.
