Memorial services for Krent Thompson, 54 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Tuesday at Johnson County Memorial Hospital, will be held Monday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center, in Buffalo, with Neil Livingston officiating; a reception will continue following the service. Donations in Krent’s memory may be made to the Fallen Biker Memorial in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com
Krent David Thompson was born on September 21, 1964, to Raymond and Deanna Thompson, in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, one of three siblings. He graduated from high school in Warsaw, Missouri. Following graduation, he entered the Marine Corp., serving from 1984-1988. After coming to Buffalo, in 1989, he worked as a bartender, wrangler, and a craftsman. He met his Queen, Tina in 1989, they later married July 11, 1992. Krent and Tina had three children; Lloyd “Hutch”, Tasia and Lyric. They made their home in Hurley, Missouri prior to moving back to Buffalo, Wyoming in 2004.
Krent was a craftsman, a jeweler, woodworker and carpenter. He was a Full Patch Member of the Ching-A-Ling Nomads MC. Krent loved life, his family, and the motorcycle world. He was a son, brother, husband, father, Papa, philosopher, musician, artist, wise beyond his years, speaker of truth, and a righteous man. But above all he was a memory maker.
He is survived by his Queen, Tina, three children: Tasia Thompson, of Buffalo, Lloyd Hutchinson “Hutch” Thompson, also of Buffalo, as well as Lyric and Jay Trangsrud, of Charlson, North Dakota, his parents, Raymond and Kristine Thompson, of Bulverde, Texas, and DeAnna Cree and Dennis Foltz of Clermont, Florida, one brother, Neal R. Phillips, of Clermont, Florida, three grandchildren, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and many “Brothers”.
