Frank Moore Irvine was born on March 16, 1950 in Casper, Wyoming to William and Sally Irvine. He went to the Natrona Country School until the 6th grade and then to the Powder River School. He attended Dean Morgan Junior High in Casper and in 1965 he moved with his family to Australia where he attended school in Darwin, Northern Territory. In 1966 he returned to Buffalo and attended Johnson County High School. He graduated from Natrona County High School with the class of 1969. After high school he attended Sheridan College for one year. He was married to Linda Sanford in 1970 in Casper and they made their home on the 7Z ranch west of Casper where he was in the cattle business with his parents. Following a divorce and after the sale of the ranch in the early 1980’s Frank cowboyed for various ranches and rodeoed throughout the West. He worked for several years for the Quarter Circle Seven Quarter Circle Ranch where he also ran his own cattle. In 2014 he sold his cattle and ill health forced him to retire. He had been living in Gillette off and on for the past ten years.

Frank was a member of the WRA the PRCA and the Elk’s Lodge. Frank loved to play cards, rope and spend time with his family and many friends.

He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Trollinger and her husband Clay of Ten Sleep, Wyoming, Nancy Irvine of Riverton, Wyoming and Lacy Daughtery and her husband Skafte of Casper; two brothers, William C. Irvine III (Del) of Billings and Todd Irvine of Torrington, Wyoming; two sisters, Edna Irvine of Riverton and Linda Dickinson of Casper and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
