Funeral services for Shirley Woodall Lueders, 73 year old Buffalo woman who passed away
peacefully Friday, surrounded by her loving family at the Johnson County Health Care Center, after a courageous battle with cancer, will be held Saturday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Buffalo with Pastor Gerald Heinecke officiating. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to immediately follow the funeral. Donations in Shirley’s memory maybe made to the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church or the VFW Auxiliary in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Shirley Sharron Lueders was born on February 20, 1945 in Miles City, Montana to Theodore and Mary Schlepp. She was baptized on October 12, 1945 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City. She graduated from Custer County High School in Miles City on June 5, 1963. She was married on November 2, 1963 in Miles City, MT to Lawrence William Woodall and they later moved to Buffalo, Wy to raise their family. Larry passed away in March of 1993 and Shirley continued living in Buffalo where she spent twenty plus years as the dietician for the Johnson County Health Care Center. She was married on May 6, 2000 to Lavern Lueders in Buffalo, where they made their home. Mr. Lueders passed away in January of 2015 and Shirley lived in Buffalo until her death.

Shirley loved her family more than anything and it was her passion to spend time with her kids and grandkids. She was a charter member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and past president and a very active member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She was very spiritual and was involved in many Church activities. Shirley had a tremendous love for the outdoors, where she enjoyed hunting fishing, riding ATV ‘s, and spending time with her family at their cabin in The Bighorns Mountains. When she wasn’t with family and friends Shirley loved to travel, read, do crossword puzzles, sew, tend to her flower garden, cook, and bake. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.

Shirley is survived by three sons, Wayne Woodall and his wife Diane of Buffalo, Matt Woodall and his wife Monica of Castle Rock, CO, and William Woodall of Buffalo; one daughter Teresa Gunderman and her husband Jon of Rapid City, SD. A step son, Rob Lueders and his wife Shirley of Buffalo; Ten grandchildren, Brittany Hull and her husband Dan, Melanie Edmunds and her husband Uriah, Hailey Myrick and her husband Matt, Madison, Aidyn, Shawn and Mason Woodall, Riley, Andrew, and Briggs Gunderman, and Seth Lueders. Six great-grandchildren, Ellianna and Nora Jane Myrick, Paxton and August Edmund, Charlotte Hull, and Easton Lueders. One brother Vern Schlepp and his wife Kathy of Miles City, MT; two sisters-in-law, Betsy Schlepp of Three Forks, MT. and Penny Schlepp of Laurel, MT., and many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Mary Schlepp, two brothers Karl and Theodore (Ted) Schlepp, and two husbands Larry Woodall and Laverne Lueders.
