She worked for the Johnson County Hospital for a brief time and finished her career by serving Johnson County with the Department of Family Services for 20 years, where she retired in 2001.
She enjoyed her life during and after her retirement: bowling, dancing, scrapbooking, and just having a great time, oh, and also telling Butch what to do. She also enjoyed her rose garden and looked forward to each spring for their arrival. Her passion was spending time with her family.
