John Carl Weber was born April 26, 1943, in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Carl and Kathryn Weber. He grew up and went to school in Clearmont, Wyoming and graduated from Clearmont High School with the class of 1961. John was an athlete, lettering in football, basketball and track. John was the Wyoming State featherweight boxing champion in 1963. He served his country as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air National Guard and graduated from the University of Wyoming. He was supervisor for Peter Kiewit and Son Inc. at the Black Thunder Coal Mine, near Rocksprings, Wyoming. He later taught school in Sheridan, and Johnson County School Districts. He was the owner DSV Road, formally In/Transit Inc. in Buffalo, Wyoming for the last 20 years; where they employed 10-14 full time employees. Several of whom have worked for John for more than 20 years. John was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed writing poems, usually humorous ones. John loved the Big Horn Mountains, and with his family built a cabin, which he enjoyed for over 30 years. Fly fishing was one of his passions, along with golf with his friends until he was physically unable. He would then ride along and just enjoy the course and their company. He helped many local families with educational expenses and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

John is survived by his loving companion of 17 years, Janice Schnitzlein, and her daughter Gina and Mike Verdone, all of Buffalo, Wyoming: one brother, Mark and Linda Weber, or Reading, Pennsylvania; one sister, Mary Alice and Bill Caldwell, of Boise, Idaho; two nephews, Craig and Shawnee Calwell, and Robert and Sunshine Weber; one niece, Jody and Mark Moore; his aunt, Sybil Weber, and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
